This book takes place nearly a century before the events of Game of Thrones, compiling the first three prequel novellas. These new adventures recount an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne. It will follow Dunk and Egg. Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) is a young, naive yet courageous hedge knight, along with his diminutive squire, Egg (Aegon Targaryen), will take on great destinies.
