Let’s face it: the real-world sucks. Plagues, death, busy work weeks, and indie covers of rap songs, the list goes on and on. Of all the multiverses and alternate realities that we could have been given, we have been handed this one and all too often it falls short of our expectations… so why not escape it?!

A joint effort from Gamestop and ThinkGeek, the Rick and Morty + Dungeons and Dragons Exclusive Comic Book and Campaign is the perfect way to get away from the burdens of your life and enjoy the plunders and mishaps that can only come about as a result of the combination between the worlds of Adult Swim’s hit cartoon and the popular roleplaying game. Featuring cover art specially designed by Invader Zim’s Mike Vasquez, this set includes not only the Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons and Dragons comic book miniseries but an entire Dungeons and Dragons campaign as well!

Separately, the comic miniseries would be a great purchase in and of itself. Jointly written by Patrick Rothfuss, author of The Kingkiller Chronicle, and Jim Zub, author of both the current Dungeons and Dragons series for IDW and the Thunderbolts series for Marvel, the comic sees Rick, Morty, and the rest of their family sucked into a D&D campaign that includes simulations and entire universes governed by the rules of the role-playing game. Featuring beautiful art by Troy Little, the comic book is a must-read.

Your enjoyment of the comic book does not have to stop when you finish the last page, because once you are done reading you can immediately hop into the campaign modeled after the same events of the miniseries. This set comes with character sheets and extra art that will make your next campaign one that you will never forget.

This item is currently available via ThinkGeek for $24.99 and is geared towards those aged 14+. Estimated play time is between 60-120 minutes.
