If you’ve been following Nerd Much? for a couple years, you’ll notice that we go ham over nerdy Christmas stuff, especially when it comes to Star Wars.
Yesterday, renowned toymaker Funko has announced a brand new line of awesome Star Wars Holiday Funko Pops that will be shipping in October 2018.
There are going to be five new Star Wars holiday Funko Pops available: Santa Yoda (#277), Chewbacca with Lights (#278), R2-D2 with Antlers (#275), Darth Vader w/ Candy Cane (#279), and C3PO as Santa (#276).
Each of the new vinyls come in a holiday-themed, display-ready box that will look especially great scattered around your home during the holiday season later this year.
They look great, honestly. Sure, we’ve seen Santa Yoda in other iterations before (like here), but we’re okay with having another excuse to buy more Funkos.
My favorite is the Chewbacca wrapped-up in Christmas lights…it’s absolutely perfect! I’m not a big fan of the R2-D2 with antler ears, but it’s the only misstep in the bunch.
Hopefully, we’ll see more of these Christmas-themed Funkos based on our favorite properties soon (we’d KILL for a set of Back to the Future Christmas Funko Pops!!).
