Actors from Game of Thrones seem to be popping up everywhere these days. This time, Pedro Pascal is starring in the upcoming Kingsman sequel.
In a report by Deadline, Pascal will be playing a character named Jack Daniels in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle. We are already curious how the character’s name may play into film’s humor.
Pascal joins some of the returning cast including lead actor Taron Egerton and Edward Holcroft. Additionally, Halle Berry and Julianne Moore are believed to be making an appearance.
Vaughn’s stylistic spy caper earned over $415 million for Twentieth Century Fox. With Vaughn once again penning the script alongside Jane Goldman, we expect another fun adventure. The sequel begins production later this year.
Earlier this week, Egerton and Vaughn teased the return of Colin Firth by releasing the above poster. Firth’s character, Harry Hart, was presumed dead by the end of the first film. Egerton tweeted the above poster along with the words, “A message from and old friend.” While the poster is simple. it does a great job showing the gentlemanly humor that fills Kingsman.
We couldn’t be more excited to see a Kingsman sequel. It will probably be awhile until we see more, but it will be well worth the wait. If you are a fan of fun spy movies, but are looking for something a little bit different, we highly suggest watching Kingsman: The Secret Service. You can find a copy of the Blu-Ray here.
