New Trailer From Capcom Reveals Resident Evil CGI Movie

Adding one more to the CGI movie series of Resident Evil, comes Resident Evil: Vendetta, an apparent prequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Capcom has released a trailer to accompany the announcement and it looks like it fits right in to the rest of the series. This movie, as with the other two (Degeneration, Damnation) exist in the same universe and usually follow the same story line as the video games.

As such, fans are hoping that the new movie will finally explain why heroes Chris Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy are mysteriously absent from the Resident Evil 6 and 7 games. Nonetheless, the trailer shows that Vendetta will be staring Redfield and Kennedy, and the lovely Rebecca Chamber from very first Resident Evil game and Resident Evil 0. The fair lady has also been absent from the video games for quite some time, so again, perhaps we will be lucky enough to see what she’s been up to in the mean time.

The CGI animated film will be revealed in Japan in May 2017 and perhaps that’s enough time to make a more intriguing trailer. As right now, it looks like yet another zombie movie with whatever that badly animated villain was at the end. Are you hoping more an improvement to the series or is this just the way you like it?
