Crash Bandicoot Remaster Comes Out This Year

Vicarious Visions has painstakingly remastered everything, from the soundtrack to the levels themselves.

Yahoo! One Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is officially coming your way June 30th, 2017 on the PS4, which is just after E3 2017, so Sony is likely quite pleased with that timing. The trilogy will include Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped for a mere $39.99.

Vicarious Visions has painstakingly remastered everything, from the soundtrack to the levels themselves, as Game Director Dan Tanguay states, “we’re giving this the love and attention to detail that we pay to all of our AAA games.

We’re building it using the original level geometry so that it plays as close to the original as possible. We’ve also referred to this as a remaster plus, as we are adding new features that we think the fans are going to love!”

Furthermore, the games will be made a million times easier by the mere addition of far more logical save and checkpoint systems. As producer Kara Massie provides us with a little sass on the subject, stating that “it’s not anything that a couple of wumpa fruits won’t fix.”

It’s certainly good to see the release of this remaster finally revealed after the rather dramatic announcement at last year’s E3. This game is Sony’s Sonic and I can’t wait to play it again on the PS4. Heck, Crash even has actual fur now! Will you be purchasing this trilogy soon? Let is know the comments below!
