Today, Bethesda announced that its E3 briefing will take place on Sunday, June 11, although the company did not announce a specific start time.
(Which is sort of like how in romantic comedies when they have a “meet cute” and just say that they’ll see you for dinner on Saturday, but don’t specify what time on Saturday).

This will be Bethesda’s third ever E3 briefing, and so far, they’ve delivered two impressive and exciting conferences. In their first year, they made waves by announcing Fallout 4, and last year, the publisher announced Quake Champions, Prey, and Dishonored 2 gameplay.
This news comes just days after Microsoft officially announced their E3 presence, which has now moved to Sunday (a day earlier than their typical Monday time slot). A couple weeks ago, EA announced their non-E3 conference, EA Play. And with these three big publishers announcing their pressers, it’s only a matter of time before Sony and Ubisoft officially announce theirs. Plus, let’s not forget Nintendo exists, and they’ll likely have a Nintendo Direct that week.
Here’s to hoping their announcements aren’t spoiled this year, as they have been for the past two years.
