Game Freak, a developer that almost exclusively makes Pokémon games, has two job postings for 3D CG designers. According to Siliconera‘s translation, one is a simple designer, the other is a lead designer. In addition, the game for the job posting is referred to as a “globally popular RPG” and a “RPG game that is popular on a global scale.” The characters that will be developed are described as cartoon-like, deformed people, monsters, and items. Since Game Freak has made only Pokémon games for quite a few years now, and the other games in its repertoire are from the SNES era, it’s more than likely these job postings are referring to a new Pokémon game.
