Brawlout Goes Into Early Access April 20th

Have you been missing a good Smash Bros. game but can’t be bothered to buy a Nintendo console? Well, you’re in luck. Brawlout is a cartoony fighter game that will truly scratch that Smash Bros. size itch. It will be released in Early Access on April 20th for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Brawlout features the most important of all fighters games: couch and online multiplayer. There are not enough couch games out there, so this can already hit the top of any list.

Six characters have been revealed so far and each of them have their own move sets, attacks, combo options, and advanced tech moves. As you can see in the trailer, the fighting is just as smooth and fluid as you’d expect from a game you can relate to Smash Bros.

In addition, you can play online tournaments and an apparently robust single player campaign. No word on if there is a story at all attached to the single player.

Nonetheless, Brawlout features 2-4 player quick matches, ranked ladders, private lobbies (if you only want to play with your friends in a custom arena and game mode), and Brawlout TV for watching live matches, featured replays, and live tournaments to stream.
