Xbox: Games With Gold For May

Welcome all Xbox Live Gold members! And to those of you who are non-members, this list will be an entirely unexciting adventure unless you like Lego and Star Wars games. Onwards!

For the month of May on selected dates Gold members will receive two Xbox One games, and two Xbox 360 games. Of course, with the backwards compatibility program you can play these games on either system. These games include:

Giana Sister: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut (originally $14.99) from May 1st to the 31st. This is a platform game developed by Black Forest Games. It is a very colorful world with smooth and cartoony graphics as you fight off the main character’s nightmares. Though not particularly story heavy, the game focuses on being a very challenging puzzle platformer.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (originally $19.99) from May 16th to June 15th. Originally released in 2014, this is a 4 player co-op multiplayer game. Players can play one of four characters, Lara Croft, Carter, Isis and Horus. As typical of Lara Croft games, the plot here is also not very heavy.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (originally $19.99) from May 1st to May 15th. This is a third person action adventure game, set in between Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (originally $19.99) from May 16th to May 31st. Hardly needs a description box, but for those that don’t know: it’s usually a third person action adventure game that follows the story it’s based on fairly closely. The humor of Lego games is legendary, often somewhere between sweet and quirky.

Are you looking forward to playing any of these games? Let us know the comments below!
