Kingsman: the Golden Circle Debuts Release Date With Trailer

20th Century Fox has finally released a trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle along with the release date of September 22nd, 2017. In this sequel, disaster has come and destroyed the Kingsman headquarters. According to the trailer, this catastrophe leads them to America, where the spies are called Statesman and not Kingsman. Poor Canada, can’t the Mounties ever have their chance to shine? Nonetheless, Kingsman and Statesman come together to defeat the big bad in this movie.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn and produced by David Reid and Adam Bohling, Kingsman: The Golden Circle is based on a short comic book series. The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons is only six issues long, but no less filled with exciting adventure that the films are sure to reflect.

Staring in this sequel will be Colin Firth (apparently his character is not as dead as he seemed in the first movie), Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Sir Elton John (I didn’t spot him in the trailer, but I hope to see him soon), Channing Tatum, and Jeff Bridges.

As much as I didn’t think Kingsman: The Secret Service needed a sequel, I will likely enjoy this new one and all that follow it just as much. This is a James Bond series that doesn’t take itself too seriously and is fully aware of some of the nonsense it tries to convince you of. Which is everything I love about the James Bond series, so I can’t wait to see this.

Are you looking forward to The Golden Circle? Do you enjoy its likeness to James Bond? Let us know in the comments!
