Best ESO Morrowind PC Deals Before Tuesday’s Launch

Tuesday, June 6 will see the official release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind on all platforms. Well, for PC gamers who already own ESO, they could have already upgraded to Morrowind and had early access since May 22. Not only that, but those PC gamers looking to enter the land of the Dark Elves can do so at a discount. Yep, up until release a few PC gaming retailers are offering up to 18% off.

The top two retailers are GMG and GamersGate. They share an 18% discount for the standard edition upgrade, which are the best prices online from an authorized retailer. The Collector’s Edition is also 18% off at GamersGate while 15% off at GMG. Both discounts are valid now up to the June 6 official launch date.

Great alternatives to GMG and GG include DLGamer and Bundle Stars. DLGamer’s 15% off and Bundle Star’s 12% offers are not quite matching the 18% from the top two, but they are still good alternative discounts and fully authorized retailers.

Last Weekend for the Discovery Pack pre-order bonus

All the above retailers are shipping keys instantly after purchase and will grant you the pre-order bonus Discovery Pack dlc. The Discovery Pack includes several in-game bonuses and exclusives. Mind you, these are not needed, but just an extra incentive to get those pre-order bucks. The Discover Pack gets you:

  • An Exclusive Warden Costume
  • Dwarven War Dog Pet
  • Treasure Maps
  • Drawven Crown Crate
  • Experience Scrolls (XP boosts)

Standard or Collector’s?

Plan on getting full use out of the Morrowind upgrade? Hardcore ESO players might very well be interested in the Collector’s Edition which costs an extra $20 (or an extra $9 after discount).

The Digital Collector’s Edition will net you:

  • Collector’s Edition Grey War Bear
  • Armored War Horse
  • Dwarven Spider Pet
  • Morag Tong gear converter
  • extra character emotes

Is the Collector’s Edition DLC worth it? That’s entirely an individual opinion, but at least you need not pay full price.
