Awash in Bethesda Deals: Cheapest Skyrim Special, ESO, Prey, and More

We’re not sure on the story behind the story. Is Bethesda strapped for cash? Did their games not sell well enough during the Steam Summer? Whatever their reasons, Bethesda games on PC have gone cheap at multiple retailers. Green Man Gaming, Bundle Stars, GamersGate, the WinGameStore, and more are all running competition Bethesda sales.

Not all sales are the same and prices at GamersGate tend to be the best. For whatever reason, the Sweden-based GamersGate has slightly better prices than the others and has new low prices on most of the Elder Scrolls titles. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition has dropped to $17.60 which is more than $2 cheaper than the previous best $20 Steam Summer sale price. The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Upgrade is likewise dropping in price, now only $24.55 or 39% off beating the previous best 33% off deal.

Competition comes in the form of Dishonored and Prey. DLGamer is the the first authorized PC gaming retailer yet to put Dishonored 2 under the $16 mark with a recent drop to $15.89. The WinGameStore has a new low on the May 2017 released Prey, being the first retailer to put up a deal under $30.

The GamersGate Bethesda sale will run now through Sunday, August 6. The other PC gaming sales end around the same time with the WinGameStore’s going an extra day, through Monday, the 7th.
