Latest Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 Trailer is Narrated by Russian Spacedog

He's a good boy! Yes he is!

Originally unveiled at last weekend’s New York Comic Con, the latest trailer for Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 has hit the net. And it’s hilariously narrated by none other than Cosmo the Spacedog. And he’s being a very good boy.

For you more casual Marvel fans out there, Cosmo the Spacedog is a Russian astronaut dog that can speak. He’s typically holed up as Knowhere’s chief of security. But you can frequently find him assisting the Guardians of the Galaxy as well. It’s apparently Cosmo who becomes aware of Kang the Conqueror’s plot within Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 and alert’s the universe’s heroes. Cosmo, in Lego game fashion, hilariously narrates the entirety of today’s new trailer and breaks down the threat that Kang the Conqueror brings to our worlds.

As we touched upon earlier this week within the Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 DLC news, Kang the Conqueror has abducted many Marvel cities from various points in time and has reconstructed them into one large open-world he calls Chronopolis. Kang is voiced by Peter Serafinowicz of Amazon’s recent The Tick reboot.

In a story co-written by award winning comic writer Kirk Busiek, Cosmo recruits heroes from a multitude of times to help return their worlds from the clutches of Chronopolis. Featured characters include Star-Lord, Thor, Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Hulk, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Rocket Raccoon, Iron Man, Cowboy Captain America, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Groot and more.

Traveller’s Tales and Warner Bros. Interactive have promised that the game will debut with nearly 150 playable characters. Many of them rare heroes from different eras such as Cowboy Captain America. And on top of that, an additional 60 will join the fray with their inclusion from DLC packs. A super heroic effort from the developers to be sure.

We’re just over a month removed from Kang the Conqueror’s eventual invasion. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 begins the quest to stop Kang on November 14th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
