Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier Release Date November

It really depends on the quality of the story told.

The next addition to Sony’s PlayLink program will be Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier on November 21, 2017. If you don’t already know, PlayLink is a new approach to couch co-op in which anyone can participate in the games available via the PS4 controller or any mobile device.Planet of the Apes Last Frontier Release Date November

With your device, you can vote on decisions in the game, solve puzzles, or a number other activities depending on the game. It seems that thus far the most intriguing games that aren’t corporate party games, are those focused on the decision making features. Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier is no different.

In the game you will take on roles from both sides of the war, human and ape. Each decision you make will lead to either war or an alliance, with multiple endings across the board. You can play with up to four people, though other PlayLink games allow for up to eight.

In the timeline of the movie universe, Last Frontier is smack in the middle of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for Planet of the Apes. As such, this is more of an interactive cinematic experience than a true game. Though we will know for sure when the game launches this month.

Luckily PlayLink games are relatively cheap to compensate for their lack of true gameplay, Last Frontier going for $19.99 USD. If you pre-order the game, you’ll receive the game’s soundtrack and five ape avatars for your PlayStation profile.

If you’re a little unsure about how these PlayLink games are supposed to be any fun, I can tell you it really depends on the quality of the story told. Beyond: Two Souls, for example, is a game that would benefit from this kind of multiplayer. Playing such a game with someone backseat gaming next to you, is actually a lot of fun and each moment is filled with anticipation and tension.

As a story about war and two groups very much in the right, Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier is sure to be an intriguing story.
