Wolfenstein II’s The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe Now Available

The first of three DLC updates is available now.

Bethesda has dropped the first significant DLC update for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Labeled The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, you’re put into the role of a former football player who was unceremoniously abducted and forced with work with under Hitler’s regime.

Joseph Stallion had it all. As an All-Star American football player, he was living the dream. That is, until he became a slave to the Reich. Forced into working within the Reich by Commander Roderick Metze, Stallion’s sole mission was to break free and get revenge.

As you see in today’s trailer, Stallion eventually does earn his freedom. He becomes a self described “hunter, a predator following a trail of blood. Burning with a singular purpose – to destroy Roderick Metze. To get to Metze though, Stallion must first escape Research Station Omega and kill all of the Nazis in his path attempting to stop him.

Stallion’s character brings a unique move into Wolfenstein II’s combat. It’s called the Ram Shackle. Using it sees the former footballer barrel through tons of Nazis that attempt to get in his way. It leads to a bloody mess that is both efficient and effective.

The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe is just the first of three upcoming DLC additions to Wolfenstein II. The second will be coming January 30th and is titled The Diaries of Agent Silent Death. In it, ex-OSS agent and assassin Jessica Valiant is tasked with infiltrating Nazi bunkers in California to uncover the top secret Operation San Andreas. This is likely to be a stealth outing, completely opposite of our buddy Gunslinger Joe.

The final DLC pack coming in March is The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins. Not much is known about that outing yet. Bethesda simply implies that the renowned Captain Wilkins will be venturing into Alaska to help dismantle Operation Black Sun. We’ll get more information on that adventure further down the line.

The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe is available now. You can pickup Wolfenstein II’s Freedom Chronicles Season Pass for $24.99.
