Monster Hunter: World Deviljho and Spring Blossom Fest Update Details

Capcom has announced a brand new monster coming to Monster Hunter: World, the Deviljho. He will be arriving March 22nd, along with the rest of the game’s major update. With the Deviljho comes new weapons and armor.A promotional image of a ne monster added to Monster Hunter World called Deviljho

Take one of the Deviljho beasts down and bring the loot to the Workshop and craft two complete armor sets called the Vangis α and Vangis β, and Deviljho designs for each of the 14 weapons currently available. Take a look at the gallery below to see what these weapons and armor look like.

In addition to the Deviljho comes the Spring Blossom Fest, just in time for the real one in Japan. The event will begin April 5th at 5pm PT and end April 18th at 5pm PT. There will be daily activities you can participate in that will, of course, include plenty of monster hunting.

As you can see in the gallery below, the developers have redecorated the Gathering Hub with an explosion of pink, yellow, and white cherry blossoms. The staff all have new Guild uniforms to match, of course, all themed in pink and petals. There will be a special platter to celebrate Spring as well, so be sure to check out the food while you’re hanging out.

During the Spring Blossom Fest, Capcom will be introducing the Mega Man voxel style Palico gear. You craft this by completing the related quest between April 13th and April 27th. On April 6th, you can get the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword.

Along with these events comes a major set of updates, like the free Character Edit Voucher on March 16th, in case you are unhappy with how your character design turned out. All of the weapons in the game will be getting balance tweaks on March 22nd, like increased damage for the Great Sword’s Charged Slash.
