Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Release Date Trailer
As the barrage of Gamescom news heads our way, one tidbit in particular has us excited. Publisher Funcom and the development team of The Bearded Ladies have announced a Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden release date.
The title is a tactical adventure game that plays similarly to the X-Com series yet incorporates real-time stealth and exploration. The story is set within a post-human Earth in which you’ll control a mutant team comprised of a former human, a hulking boar with anger management issues, and a 4 feet tall duck with an attitude and crossbow.
The publisher and developer have confirmed that the Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden released date will make it inside the last few weeks of 2018. The title will be debuting on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 4th.
The game has a bit of hype behind it. It first went playable at E3 2018 and ended up garnering several “Best of E3” awards and nominations.

Funcom and The Bearded Ladies have also shared details regarding Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden’s plans for a Collector’s Edition. The premium package will run at $54.99 ($34.99 for the Standard Edition). It includes a desktop wallpaper, a digital artbook, a digital soundtrack, and a digital copy of the Mutant Year Zero pen-and-paper RPG book.
