With Spider-Man‘s first DLC dropping next week, Sony and Insomniac are continuing to tease what’s coming within the first part of their The City That Never Sleeps expansion. More specifically, the developer has shown us a trio of new Spider-Man DLC suits that are headed our way.
Of the new Spider-Man DLC suits, one of them is a completely original work. Created by Marvel illustrator Gabriele Dell’Otto, Insomniac is calling it the Resilient Suit. In the base game are Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit and Velocity Suit which are original creations as well.
There are two other Spider-Man DLC suits included stemming from the comics. The first is Spider-Man’s suit from Scarlet Spider II. The other is the Spider-UK suit from the Spider-Verse story arc. You can unlock them all while playing through The Heist.
If you haven’t been following Sony and Insomniac’s post-launch plans, The City That Never Sleeps is a trio of DLC. The first installment coming next week is entitled The Heist. It features the return of Felicia Hardy’s Black Cat into Peter Parker’s life. The character “is back in town and leaving mysterious clues around Marvel’s New York to toy with Spider-Man.”
More From Nerd Much?:
Following The Heist there are two other DLC packages coming. These are titled Turf Wars and Silver Lining. There haven’t been any details released yet, but we do know that there will be more Spider-Man DLC suits within them as well as other added content outside of the obvious story expansion.
Each of the DLC packs will run $9.99 each. However, if you’ve yet to purchase Marvel’s Spider-Man for PlayStation 4, you can choose to splurge for the $79.99 Digital Deluxe Edition and save a few bucks in the long run.
