Hitman 2 Elusive Target Missions Return with Sean Bean as First Hit

With Hitman 2 coming in just a few weeks, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive are trickling out more and more details on the anticipated sequel. Today the studios have confirmed that Hitman‘s Elusive Target missions are making a return. And they’ve announced that the first Hitman 2 Elusive Target features none other than the prominent actor, Sean Bean.

In the first Hitman 2 Elusive Target mission, Bean portrays another assassin by the name of Mark Faba. Today’s trailer shows Bean as Faba within a therapy appointment. He goes around his therapist’s office pointing out various knickknacks and detailing how he could turn them into potentially deadly weapons.

His appointment comes to an end as Faba states “Time’s up.” He then pulls a silenced pistol out from behind his back and shoots his therapist at pointblank range. Faba apparently knew that the therapist was no therapist at all, and instead was ready to kill him at a moment’s notice.

Faba then looks up at a camera in the corner of the office. Our view is pulled back and we see that Agent 47 has been watching what’s been transpiring. Faba then speaks directly to the character, saying “I know you’re watching. Still not sent your best, eh? Guess I’ll see you in Miami.”

This first Hitman 2 Elusive Target mission is entitled The Undying. It will launch on November 20th, a week after Hitman 2 releases on November 13th. But the Hitman 2 Elusive Target missions aren’t the only thing to get excited about. IO has also confirmed a new mode entitled World of Assassination. And a new multiplayer offering as well in Hitman 2’s Ghost Mode.
