It has been revealed that these Cuphead platforming levels allow the player to play the game in more of a Mega Man style of gameplay. There are many smaller enemies that still have as much care put into their design and animation as the rest of the game.
Still, the game’s real magic still lies in the many, many boss battles. Every boss looks unique from one another, and the animation makes everything look like Walt Disney designed them himself. It’s a sort of feel that we haven’t seen in games before, and that gets us super hyped.
Hopefully we will get a chance to play some of these new Cuphead platforming sections when we head to E3 2016 in just a few days. Ever since the game was first revealed in its 15 seconds of glory, our hearts have been locked in, waiting for more.
Cuphead will be a Microsoft exclusive title. It is still slated for a 2016 release on both Xbox One and PC. This game is the definition of indie and the creators both quit their day jobs to focus on putting their best foot forward. This is the kind of game we should be supporting. Best of luck to you two![irp posts=”1638″ name=”Top 30 Most Anticipated Upcoming Games of 2016″]
