If that interests you, keep reading. Perfect World and developer Tuque Games have announced that the Livelock release date is now set for August 2 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Livelock will place players in the 22nd century, the age of the machine. It’s set roughly 100 years after the cataclysm, and your new task is to restore humanity. Players will take control of a Capital Intellect, a “human consciousness uploaded to [a] large mechanical body.” You’re armed with a unique set of weapons and special abilities, and you’ll use them to fight your way through Clusters, corrupted machines that now control what remains of the earth.
The game is described as a fast-paced co-op top-down shooter with loot. And being that we love co-op games, top-down shooters, loot, and futurism, we’re going to be all over it here at Nerd Much. For more on the game, check out the official Livelock site.
