WATCH: BioShock: The Collection Trailer

**Updated 6/30/16: 2K Games officially announced Bioshock: The Collection this morning, and it’s heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 13 in the U.S., Australia on September 15, and internationally on September 16.

Luckily, the developer also noted that each BioShock, BioShock 2, and Infinite will all be remastered in 1080p and running at 60fps on ALL platforms.

PC players will not have BioShock Infinite included in their purchase, as 2K notes “it already meets current-gen console standards and runs smoothly on high visual settings.” There’s no word on whether or not PC players will be able to purchase the collection as a discount, but we’ll keep you posted. For now, check out the BioShock: The Collection trailer above.

Original Story:

Bioshock The Collection has a much more convincing leak this time. Outed by 2K Games, the upcoming title may be revealed sooner than we think.

Discovered by IGN, there was an official page on 2K’s website that has since been taken down. Luckily, they were quick to capture a screenshot of the website along with some images that were on the website. As you can see by the first image below, it is pretty hard to discredit the existence of Bioshock The Collection. In fact, we feel pretty good about calling this confirmed.

If that wasn’t enough, the official Twitter account for Bioshock teased us with the message, “Welcome to Rapture! Would you kindly follow Bioshock?”

Previously, Bioshock The Collection rumors surfaced after a retailer listing appeared last year. The game also showed up on a Taiwanese ratings site this March and on the ESRB website in April.

It’s nice when speculation becomes reality. With how beautifully crafted the worlds of Rapture and Columbia are, we are excited to see how they look on the newer consoles. The Bioshock games are often considered some of the greatest first-person shooters of all time, and this collection will remind us why that is. Hello Rapture, we’re coming home.

Give us virtual high fives on Twitter and Facebook for updates.
