Dark Souls 3 DLC will be coming out this October if this leak is to be believed. With the announcement spoiled by Playstation, this one seems obviously true.
According the the Japanese website Esuteru (via Siliconera), the Dark Souls 3 DLC will be releasing October 26. What’s interesting is that a tweet from the official Playstation page reveals a release date of October 25. The tweet has since been taken down, but we aren’t exactly sure the reasoning. Was the date incorrect? Was it supposed to be revealed tomorrow? Whatever the case may be, you can see it for yourself below.
Additionally, the Tweet shows the title of the Dark Souls 3 DLC as Ashes of Ariandel. While the link for the trailer remains private for now, we have no doubt we will be seeing it soon. In Esuteru’s report, the DLC will contain many new weapons, magic, and a PVP exclusive map called Immortal Competition.
For an idea of what the new spells might be, the report contains images of a colorless, flaming sword. There also appear to be an ice storm spell and “one that looks like a circular boomerang of light.”
Last week, From Software teased a major announcement coming August 24. Could this be it? We’ll just have to wait and see!
