The Full List of All Xbox One Backwards Compatible Games

Xbox 360 games on xbox oneMicrosoft has announced the full list of the first round of Xbox One backwards compatible games that will allow you to play some select Xbox 360 games on your shiny new console.

The list contains 104 titles to be exact, and it includes some of the Xbox 360’s best games. The list includes the complete Gears of War catalog, Fallout 3 (how timely), Borderlands, Mass Effect, and more. The full list of backwards compatible games is found below.

Keep in mind that all Xbox 360 games available through the Games with Gold promotion after November 12 will be playable on Xbox One going forward. So, more free games are on the way. Microsoft also noted that more Xbox 360 backwards compatible games are on the way, including, most importantly, SKATE 3! Rejoice, skateboarding game fans. The company also noted that Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops 1, the entire Bioshock series will be coming in December.

We’ll note that we’re still disappointed that although the initial list is a hefty offering, the list doesn’t contain Skate 3 immediately. Luckily, we’ll be able to play it soon, though, so that’s at least enough to calm our nerves. We’ve tested out backwards compatibility for a few games so far (thanks to our access to the dashboard update early), and it works pretty well. So, be excited.
