Ark: Survival Evolved Xbox One Game Preview Release ‘Imminent’

Ark: Survival Evolved is currently soaring on STEAM’s most popular games list. Clearly, people love dinosaur games. Now, developer studio Wildcard has teased (via the official Steam forum) that the Ark: Survival Evolved Xbox One game preview release is “imminent.”

Although we’ve known about Ark‘s impending Xbox One Early Access-style release, we now know that it’s a lot sooner than we expected it to be. Meanwhile, the game has sold over 2 million copies to date on PC, despite the fact that it’s still in early access.

The price is $30 on PC, but Xbox One gamers will be able to play a free trial of the game before deciding if they want to spend their money to commit to it. We don’t know whether or not Wildcard will be able to keep up with the PC’s numerous updates for the Xbox One. But, hopefully, they’ll pay just as close attention to the Xbox One version as they do to the PC version.

The full version will release on Xbox One (and PS4) at some point in 2016.
