PlayStation Experience is coming up in Anaheim, California on the 3rd of next month. Excitement has grown since PlayStation released the list of developers and publishers in attendance. So what can those in attendance expect to see? Well, this year the line-up includes big names.
Activision will likely be showing us how Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is doing after its first month out. They’ll also likely talk about how terrific Skylanders Imaginators has been going and try to sell us on the mobile card game Skylanders Battlecast. E.A. will have more to show on Mass Effect: Andromeda. And Guerilla Games will have more to show on Horizon Zero Dawn.
Adult Swim Games will likely not only talk about their recently released game, Small Radios Big Televisions, they will also likely show us some of their new Toe Jam & Earl game as well as Rick and Morty Simulator. Both are coming out next year. Bandai Namco will try to get people excited for their upcoming Power Rangers, Dragon Ball, and Naruto games. 2017 also holds scary titles like Get Even and Little Nightmares. Devolver Digital may show a little of their upcoming games Strafe and Eitr. Double Fine will likely show their recently released Knights and Bikes. And Supergiant Games will no doubt have something to show on.
PlayStation VR and the PS4 Pro will play big roles in this year’s Playstation Experience. CCP Games will certainly be showing off their VR skill with EVE: Gunjack. Ubisoft will motivate attendees to try VR with Werewolves Within, Star Trek: Bridge Crew, and Eagle Flight aside from selling For Honor. And Naughty Dog will show off just how good Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us will look on the PS4 Pro.
Additionally, lesser known studios will be there. Arcade Distillery is creating Death Tales. Cleaversoft is working on Earth Night. Defiant Development is making progress on Hand of Fate 2. Desert Owl Games has two projects Poxnora and The Huntsman – Winter’s Curse. We the Force is finishing up Randall. Happy Badger Studio is working on SmuggleCraft. Milkbag Games is finishing up FutureGrind. Vblank Entertainment’s Shakedown: Hawaii is scheduled to come out next year. NextGen Pants, Inc. is working on Refractor. Pocketwatch Games just started the alpha for their game Tooth and Tail. And Spaces of Play’s Future Unfolding was just greenlit on Steam.
