The upcoming MMORPG has been in closed beta in Korea and Russia for quite some time, and now U.S. and Canadian gamers will be able to get hands on the fully translated and tweaked western release.
The beta will see additions to the already impressive character creation, new weather systems, balance changes and other minor changes. The beta will also give U.S. players their first taste of PvP.
Players who have pre-ordered the Conqueror’s Package will have guaranteed access to the closed beta test when it begins. Otherwise, players can register via the official Black Desert Online site. Registration will remain open until December 9th.
Black Desert Online will be free-to-play in Korea, Russia, and Japan, and it’ll be a buy once to play package in Europe in North America (similar to Guild Wars 2). The western release will see major changes from the international versions, with a tweaked progression system that will accommodate the pricing structure difference.
