Games of Glory Highlights Gameplay as They Prepare for Full Release

Today a young indie studio, known as Lightbulb Crew, worked on spreading the word of their first game with two new trailers.  Games of Glory, a free-to-play top-down multiplayer team shooter, went out of Early Access earlier this month to prepare for its full release. The game is in its third year of development and has improved greatly since it first launched in May of last year.

In fact, Games of Glory has greatly improved its artwork and expanded its roster to now have 15 different characters spread across five different classes. And, the team took notes based on over 200 bits of feedback they received during its development.
Teams will partake in 3v3 or 5v5 battles and can use 64 different weapons to take down their opponents. These weapons include sniper rifles, pistols, rocket launchers, and more. Best of all, they are not character restricted.

The gladiator battles will take place in the intergalactic arenas of the dictatorial Synarchy and strategy, practice, and teamwork are encouraged. Additionally, creating or joining a clan will be beneficial.

In their first gameplay trailer, players are introduced to a map known as the abandoned foundry, found on Svandia in the Superstar game mode where the Superstar is randomly selected at the beginning and must quickly gear up to survive to rush the center of the map. The first team to win five rounds wins the game. The other map is known as Arkashan, and the mode for it is known as Conquest. In the second trailer, we get introduced to one of the characters.

The team is made up of veterans from Ubisoft, DICE, and Dontnod. And they have two locations, one in Paris, France and one in Stockholm, Sweden. They will be presenting a demo at PlayStation Experience this weekend. The game is planned to release next year and will allow for cross-platform play between Steam and PS4.
