Console users of Minecraft have long known that updates release far less frequently than its PC counterpart. Luckily, this means that when it does finally update, there is a massive amount of content to explore. The large update is simply titled “Update 31,” and includes something for every kind of player.
If you are looking to interact with the various creatures, you will be glad to know that Endermites, Guardians, Elder Guardians, Rabbits, and Chicken Jockeys will finally be coming to the console edition.
For those looking to explore the vast lands, you will have many new biomes including Mesa, Mega Taiga, Roofed Forest, Birch Forest, Forest, Savanna, Extreme Hills+, Deep Ocean, Snowless Taiga, Ice Spikes, as well as 20 new Technical Biomes.
Players who thought that there was far too much water and too little to do with it, fear not. If you swim under the water’s surface, you just may discover the new Ocean Monument structures.
Other additions include new block types, flowers, and craftable items. Skeletons now flee at the site of wolves (they are made of bones of course) and the various mobs can now swim properly.
