Uncharted 4 Delayed To April 2016

Uncharted 4 DelayWe all hoped it wouldn’t come to this, but it looks like we’ll have to wait just a wee bit longer to get our hands on Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4.

Written in a post on Playstation Blog, Neil Druckman and Bruce Straley broke the news that the long awaited sequel has been delayed just over a month and will be releasing on April 26th, 2016. “As we approached our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game’s levels, we realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line,” they said. “Pushing the date is not an easy choice, and we wouldn’t do it if we didn’t feel in our hearts it’s the best course of action for the game.”

Try not to be too disappointed though, Naughty Dog is well known for releasing top-quality content. The company’s most recent new release was critically acclaimed The Last of Us. This game saw multiple delays as well and we know how well that game turned out.

This is the second delay for Uncharted 4. Originally, the game was set to be released in time for Christmas this year, but then it was pushed back to March 18th.

In the meantime, you now have an extra month to make sure you’re all caught up with the Uncharted series. You can also pre-order this collector’s edition of Uncharted 4 that comes with a pretty sweet statue of Nathan Drake himself.
