Hard on the heels of the release of Ashes of Ariandel, it’s been confirmed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, president of FromSoftware, that the studio is working on three new projects. We don’t know much about them, but this rumor might just be referring to one of them.
According to a Reddit user by the name of Gonzzink, Miyazaki and author of Berserk Kentaro Miura are collaborating on a new project together. The post states that “artist and fellow Berserk fan who visited From Software while studying drawing abroad in Japan. I met Miyazaki as well as the editor of Berserk, who are collaborating!” The post has since been removed, so there might very well be some truth to this rumor.
More From Nerd Much?:
Since Dark Souls was heavily inspired by the Berserk manga, I’m sure we’re all hoping for another game filled with dark lore and darker gameplay. A collaboration like this is every fan’s wet dream and undoubtedly only greatness can come from this. I am a huge fan of both game and manga, but I fear that this collaboration might mean just another game like Dark Souls, the same way Bloodborne is.
However, we must all keep in mind that this is just a rumor and can turn out to be entirely misguided. So praise the sun and let’s hope this is real. What do you think this collaboration will result in? Let us know in the comments below!
