Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games of 2017 & Beyond

**Update 3/21/17: Bloodstained has been announced for the Switch.

The Nintendo Switch launch date has been set for March 3, 2017, and some of the pre-order options have begun popping up all over the web. Nintendo has piqued the interest of many gamers around the globe after their big info dump last night, and we’re expecting many to be looking for a list of upcoming Nintendo Switch games, both launch games and titles coming later this year.upcoming nintendo switch games 2017

And there are certainly a plethora of games already in development, as Nintendo stated that there are over 80 games currently in development for the Switch from over 50 third party developers.

Here is a list of all of the upcoming Nintendo Switch games of 2017 & beyond (there are now 69 that we know about):

1. 1-2-Switch

upcoming nintendo games

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: March 3, 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Party Game

At first glance, it looks like 1-2-Switch is just a collection of mini-games to show off the tech in the JoyCon controllers, and it’s being presented in a way we’ve seen Nintendo present similar games like Wii Sports and Nintendoland. While we have no idea how many mini-games 1-2-Switch will actually have, but we do know that there will be more than 20. Although we’re surprised it’s being sold as a standalone retail offering instead of being bundled in with Switch launch consoles, it looks like there’s going to be a lot of fun to be had here. With 1-2-Switch, there’s less of an emphasis on playing a video game and more of a focus on interact with your friends in way that uses the Switch screen as a secondary thing; meaning, it’s not a necessity to play, only to know who won the game you’re playing. It looks like a great party game, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

1-2-Switch is also being developed by the same team behind the incredible Mario Kart 8, so we have to imagine it’s going to be top-notch.

2. The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+

binding of isaac afterbirth plus

Developer: Nicalis
Publisher: Nicalis
Release Date: March 3, 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Roguelike, Dungeon Crawl

Nicalis recently announced that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is going to be a Nintendo Switch launch game, adding one more to Nintendo’s launch lineup. It’s a roguelike dungeon-crawler that feels like the original Zelda with a creepy, bloody twist. It’s a ridiculously highly-rated franchise, and Afterbirth+ will bundle all of the offerings from The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth into one offering.

3. Super Mario Odyssey

super mario odyssey game

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: Fall 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Adventure Platforming

Nintendo’s bread n’ butter will always be Mario games, and of course, the Nintendo Switch will get its own Mario game. It’s called Super Mario Odyssey, and it looks like a cross between Super Mario 64 and Sunshine (read: it looks incredible). In Odyssey, Mario will be set in a real-worldesque setting, and it looks like the game will have a hub city named New Donk City. I don’t know for sure, but I’m thinking New Donk City is going to act like the castle in Mario 64, where there will be things to collect there but it’s predominately used to bring Mario to other areas.

Also noteworthy in Super Mario Odyssey is the fact that Mario now has a sentient hat, which we see Mario using for some sweet, sweet platforming, as well as slaying his foes. Super Mario Odyssey is one of our most anticipated games of 2017.

4. Xenoblade Chronicles 2

nintendo switch games 2017

Developer: Monolith Soft
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: Fall 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Single-Player RPG

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was announced during the Nintendo Switch blowout in January, and we don’t have a ton of details about it just yet — aside from the fact that it was entirely unexpected. Know that it’s currently slated to release at some point in 2017, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a late November/early December release date. Until we learn more, you can check out the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 reveal trailer below.

5. Fire Emblem Warriors

Fire Emblem warriors

Developer: Omega Force
Publisher: Koei Tecmo
Release Date: Fall 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch, 3DS
Genre: Hack and Slash Adventure

Fire Emblem Warriors will feature numerous characters from the Fire Emblem franchise, and it will be similar in vein to Hyrule Warriors (Nintendo’s other collaboration with Koei Tecmo). It will feature hack-and-slash gameplay similar to Dynasty Warriors, but set in the Fire Emblem world with FE characters. We recently learned that the game will make its way to the Nintendo 3DS as well, and it’s one of two confirmed Fire Emblem Switch games on the way. Details are scarce for now, but expect more soon.

6. New Shin Megami Tensei

shin megami tensei switch release

Developer: Atlus
Publisher: Atlus
Release Date: Fall 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Role-Playing Game

Atlus brought a short teaser for Shin Megami Tensei Switch to the Nintendo Switch info dump conference in January, and it looks great so far, running on Unreal Engine 4. Unfortunately, we don’t have any other details about the game just yet, except that it will be the next entry in the long-standing franchise.

7. Project Octopath Traveler

upcoming switch rpgs

Developer: Square Enix
Publisher: Square Enix
Release Date: TBA (sounds like 2018, though)
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: RPG

One of the most buzzworthy announcements to come out of that Switch conference in January was a little game by the name of Project Octopath Traveler from Square Enix, which is a new RPG headed-up by Tomoyo Asano, the producer behind the Bravely series. The official Facebook page for the project notes that it will be a “winding road” to get to the game’s release, so we’re not expecting Project Octopath Traveler to release in 2017. With that being said, the brief bit that was shown looks great, and will definitely pique the interest of many Nintendo Switch gamers.

8. New No More Heroes

nintendo switch games at launch

Developer: Suda51
Publisher: Ubisoft
Release Date: TBA
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Action-adventure Hack and Slash

One of the weirdest and most poorly-received announcement for the Nintendo Switch so far was whatever No More Heroes game that Suda51 was trying to tell us about during the conference. The message was lost in translation, so-to-speak, and all we know is that it will be a new NMH starring Travis Touchdown with a heavy emphasis on wrestling again. Hopefully, whatever information Suda51 releases next for the No More Heroes Switch game will be a bit more clear and easier to digest.

9. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

upcoming games 2017

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: March 3, 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch, Wii U
Genre: Adventure RPG

The reason that the majority of us have already pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch is because of one game and one game only: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It looks incredible, and every single trailer we’ve seen so far has given us more information about what to expect. We’ve seen gameplay, and after getting our hands on it at E3 last year, we’re anxiously awaiting the game’s release in early March. Everything about Breath of the Wild checks all the right boxes, including great character design, a generally pleasing aesthetic, and cool spider mechs. What’s more, Link hums when he cooks in the game— how adorable is that?!?

10. Arcade Archives  (Hamster co)

king of fighters 97

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: HAMSTER Co
Release Date: TBA
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Arcade

HAMSTER Co. previously released numerous individual arcade games for the PS4 on PSN, including ContraDouble DragonThe Legend of KAGESuper Dodge Ball, and more. And at some point likely in 2017, they’ll do the same for the Nintendo Switch. We don’t know exactly when to these arcade games on Switch just yet, but expect to learn more soon.

11. Arms

nintendo switch arms

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: Spring 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Fighting

One of the most unique-looking games shown for the Nintendo Switch is ARMS, a fighting game that can utilize the JoyCon motion controllers. It’ll take the typical fighting game formula of 2v2 and place it in a 3D arena with various long-armed combatants, each with their own unique abilities. It’s going to play like a boxing game of sorts, and each boxer will have their own special attributes to learn and master. It has a sort of shooting-game element to it as well, as you’re able to throw your punches that are aimed at your opponents. The arenas will also have unique obstacles like columns and trampolines, creating interesting challenges that change the dynamic of every match. Early hands-on impressions say there’s a lot more to it than what was presented by Nintendo initially, and with that, we can’t wait to jump in. And if you’re feeling lazy, you can also play it without the motion controls. Friendships will be broken.

12. Splatoon 2

Splatoon 2 trailer

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: August 8, 2017 (Rumored), Summer 2017 Confirmed
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Shooter

Splatoon 2 is a game that looks more like Splatoon 1.5, but we’ll take it, given the love for the original on the Wii U. It’s great to see Nintendo continuing on with their unique squid ink shooter, and it’s definitely a game that will play well to the Switch’s unique strength of being portable. The new entry in the franchise will bring new weapons, including a Splat Dualies, as well as mainstays like the Splat Charger or Roller. It will have both online and local multiplayer via new Turf War battles, which can be played in both TV mode or on-the-go. Splatoon 2 will also introduce new characters, and the game will have new content rolled-out post launch in a similar way to its predecessor.

13. Cube Life: Island Survival HD

2017 nintendo switch games

Developer: Cypronia
Publisher: Cypronia
Release Date: Q1 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch, Wii U (available now), PS4
Genre: Sandbox

If you missed out on Cube Life: Island Survival when it released in 2015 for the Wii U, it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch soon after the console’s launch (and it’s coming to PS4 as well) in the form of an HD remake. In reality, though, it’s the same game as the original, with the only difference being that it’s upscaled to high-definition.

14. Disgaea 5 Complete

Developer: Nippon Ichi Software
Publisher: NIS America
Release Date: TBA
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Role-Playing, Strategy

Disgaea 5 is a highly-rated tactical role-playing game that was released on the PS4 in 2015. In 2017, likely soon after the console’s release, it will hit the Nintendo Switch, meaning you’ll be able to play it at home or on the go. It will also get a collector’s edition officially named Disgaea 5 Complete Limited Edition, and it will come with a physical copy of the game, a 2-disc soundtrack, art book, collector’s box, mystery item, and a clip-on Prinny.

15. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

dragon ball xenoverse 2

Developer: Dimps
Publisher: Bandai Namco
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Fighting

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will make its way to the Switch at some point in 2017, and we have to imagine it won’t be too long after launch, given the fact that it has already released for the Xbox One, PC, and PS4.

16. Dragon Quest X: The Five Awakening Races Online

dragon quest x switch

Developer: Square Enix
Publisher: Square Enix
Release Date: TBA
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Persistent Online RPG

The 10th installment of the Dragon Quest franchise, The Five Awakening Races Online, is an MMORPG that has been available on the Wii U and 3DS previously. The story is set in a new world known as Astoltia, which has five continents and six playable races. It released in Japan in 2012, and it will make its way westward for the Nintendo Switch at some point.

17. Dragon Quest XI

upcoming Nintendo switch games

Developer: Armor Project, Square Enix
Publisher: Square Enix
Release Date: TBA 2017 (likely fall)
Platform: Nintendo Switch, 3DS, PS4
Genre: Single-Player RPG

Dragon Quest XI, meanwhile, is set to release at some point in 2017 for the Switch, 3DS, and PS4. The game will use the franchise’s traditional turn-based battle system, and the 3DS version will have 3D graphics on the top screen and 16-bit on the bottom screen. The upcoming RPG will use the Unreal Engine 4 game engine, and the footage we’ve seen so far looks absolutely stunning. Here’s to hoping it actually releases in 2017 and won’t be delayed into 2018.

18. Dragon Quest Heroes 1-2

Switch launch games

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: Fall 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Adventure Platforming

Although it’s clear that Dragon Quest Heroes won’t look nearly as good on the Switch as it does on the PS4, we’re still excited that there will be a high-quality portable version of the game for us to take with us on the go — something the PS4 won’t offer. The Ps4 version will launch on April 28, 2017, but there isn’t a date for the Switch version just yet.

19. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

skyrim switch

Developer: Bethesda
Publisher: Bethesda
Release Date: Fall 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch (and available on just about everything else already)
Genre: Single player RPG

Skyrim has been confirmed for the Switch, although all signs are pointing to it being not graphically enhanced like the recent version that released to the PS4 and Xbox One, it’s still going to serve as a portable, fully-featured Skyrim.

20. Farming Simulator 17

upcoming nintendo switch games 2017

Developer: GIANTS Software
Publisher: GIANTS Software
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch (Available on other platforms already)
Genre: Simulator

Farming Simulator 17 will make its way to the Switch soon before Farming Simulator 18 hits the 3DS and Vita later this year.

21. FAST RMX

racing games nintendo switch

Developer: Shin’en Multimedia
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Racing

Who needs F-Zero when you can just have another developer create something similar (and possibly better) than what you already have? Nintendo will release FAST RMX for the Switch at some point in 2017, and hopefully it’ll release closer to launch because it looks absolutely incredible. It’s high-octane racing in a similar vein to Nintendo’s own F-Zero franchise.

22. FIFA

switch fifa

Developer: EA
Publisher: EA
Release Date: TBA
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Sports

FIFA was announced for Nintendo’s upcoming console, and we don’t know anything more than that. Will it be FIFA 17? FIFA 18? Or a dumbed-down FIFA for portability? We simply don’t know as details are scarce. Hopefully, EA won’t wait until their newly announced EA Play 2017 before sharing any details.

23. NBA 2K18

switch games to play

Developer: 2K Sports
Publisher: 2K
Release Date: September 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One
Genre: Sports

The highly-rated basketball game franchise will make its way to the Switch in September 2017, alongside a PS4 and Xbox One release. I don’t think most of us will be playing it like Nintendo wants us to, judging by the initial Switch sizzle reel that showed basketball players actually stopping their game to play NBA 2K18 on their Switch handhelds. Still, the idea of playing NBA 2K18 on the go (even if it will likely be at a lower graphical quality than its big brother consoles) is an exciting one.

24. Has-Been Heroes

has-been heroes nintendo switch

Developer: Frozenbyte
Publisher: Gametrust
Release Date: March 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Rogue-like Strategy Action

Has-Been Heroes wasn’t even shown at the recent Switch conference in January, and that’s a shame because it looks absolutely great. It’s a rogue-like game that features a dozen has-been heroes, with the player controlling three of them. By doing so, the player is tasked with combining hundreds of different spells to strike devastating combos to use against their enemies along the way. It’s a game that will be filled with irreverent humor, and the difficulty of each level will increase as you progress.

25. Just Dance 2017

just dance nintendo switch

Developer: Ubisoft
Publisher: Ubisoft
Release Date: March 3, 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Dance, Party

Just Dance 2017 is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

26. Lego City Undercover

lego city switch

Developer: Traveller’s Tales
Publisher: Nintendo, Warner Bros.
Release Date: Spring 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Action, Adventure

A widely underrated multiplayer game by the name of Lego City Undercover will make its way to the Nintendo Switch at some point shortly after the console’s launch. The game is massive, containing over 20 unique districts, 100+ vehicles, and a wide area for you to explore. You’ll take on the role of undercover police officer Chase McCain who is tasked with tracking down villain Rex Fury, a criminal on a hot streak. It’s filled with humor in typical Lego game fashion, and bringing an enhanced edition to the Switch is going to put it infront of more gamers.

27. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe switch

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo

Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Racing

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will bring new characters (Inkling Girl and Inkling Boy, King Boo, Dry Bones, and Bowser Jr.), bug fixes, and a revamped Battle Mode containing Balloon Battle nad Bob-omb Blast, and it will serve as the definitive edition of Mario Kart 8, the best game in the series so far.

29. Minecraft: Story Mode – the Complete Adventure

Developer: Telltale Games
Publisher: Telltale Games

30. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom

Monster Boy switch

Developer: Game Atelier
Publisher: FDG Entertainment
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC
Genre: Platforming

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is an upcoming platformer that takes its inspiration from 1989’s Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap, where players have to battle enemies and solve puzzles in order to progress through the game’s story. In Monster Boy, players will gain six animal transformations that they’re able to switch to at will (think Maui in Moana). For example, he’s able to switch to a pig who can smell hidden contraptions, a frog who can use its tongue to swing on hoops, and more. It looks like the kind of game that’s perfect for curling up on the couch while you watch something on Netflix.

31. Yooka-Laylee

yooka-laylee switch

Developer: Playtonic Games
Publisher: Team17
Release Date: April 11, 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC, Xbox One
Genre: Adventure Platforming

Yooka-Laylee is said to be a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, and it’s being developed by the same team who worked on BK back in RARE’s heyday. Players will control a male chameleon named Yooka and a female bat named Laylee, and it’s an attempt to modernize the beloved franchise it takes its inspiration from. We have a feeling Yooka-Laylee is going to play especially well to the Switch’s strength of being portable, as every other console it’s heading to requires you to sit in front of a television to play. With the Switch, you’ll be able to take Yooka-Laylee on the go.

32. Project Sonic 2017

project sonic 2017 switch

Developer: Sonic Team
Publisher: Sega
Release Date: 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC
Genre: Adventure Platforming

An all-new 3D Sonic adventure will attempt to revive one of the most recognizable video game mascots of all-time, and it looks to be an updated hero for a new generation of gamers. The game made its debut at Sega’s 25th Anniversary celebration during SDCC in 2016, and it was announced alongside Sonic Mania. The game is being developed by the same team behind Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations, and it will be led by Sonic veteran Takashi Iizuka. It’s not a Sonic Generations 2 sequel, as Iizuka has confirmed it will be a brand new, standalone title.

33. Puyo Puyo Tetris

Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games 2017

Developer: SEGA
Publisher: SEGA
Release Date: TBA
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Puzzle

Puyo Puyo Tetris is a four-player Tetris game that combines Tetris and Puyo Puyo. The game is also developed by Sonic Team, and it originally released in early 2014 for PS4, XBox One, 3DS, and Wii U.

34. Rayman Legends Definitive Edition

rayman legends switch

Developer: Ubisoft Montpellier
Publisher: Ubisoft
Release Date: TBA
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Adventure

Rayman Legends Definitive Edition is one of Ubisoft’s highest-rated video games of all-time, holding a whopping 92 on Metacritic for the Wii U version. The Switch version will add new exclusive content (although we don’t know what exactly just yet).

35. Redout

switch games releasing in 2017

Developer: Nicalis
Publisher: Nicalis
Release Date: Spring 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Racing

Another futuristic racer in a similar vein to F-Zero and RollCage games, Redout will release for the Switch in Spring 2017. And, it looks just as good as Fast RMX. In fact, we’re not sure what’s going to separate the two just yet, and probably won’t know until we get our hands on it.

36. Rime

Rime Release Date

Developer: Tequila Works
Publisher: Grey Box
Release Date: May 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC, Xbox One
Genre: Adventure Platforming

Rime, one of the most highly anticipated indie games of 2017, will also make its way to the Nintendo Switch (alongside the Ps4, PC, and Xbox One). Our first taste of Rime came during Sony’s Gamescom conference in 2013, showing off its cel-shaded Wind Waker-esque art style and gameplay that drew comparisons to Team Ico games. Rime has been dragged through the mud with its development and publishing rights since. Finally, it’s set for a release in May.

37. Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers

nintendo switch fighting games

Developer: Capcom
Publisher: Capcom
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Fighting

The best fighting game of all-time will get the Ultra edition treatment, as Capcom has announced Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, which will be an updated version of the classic 1991 fighting game from the SNES. The game will add two new characters — Evil Ryu and Violent Ken — and it will have updated HD graphics similar to the HD Remix we were given in 2008.

Although those characters technically aren’t new, and Capcom missed yet another golden opportunity to make something even more ambitious instead of using recycled sprites, we’re still planning to pick up USF2 when it launches.

38. Shovel Knight

switch shovel knight

Developer: Yacht Club Games
Publisher: Yacht Club Games
Release Date: Spring 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch (Available on everything else)
Genre: 2D Adventure

Shovel Knight will make its way to the Switch with Treasure Trove and Specter of Torment at some point surrounding the Switch’s launch, although the exact date was not given. Treasure Trove (the rebranded main game) will be available for $24.99, and the standalone Specter of Torment will run for $9.99.

39. Skylanders Imaginators

skylanders imaginators switch

Developer: Activision

Release Date: March 3, 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Action Adventure

Skylanders Imaginators will make its way to the Switch, allowing players to create their own Skylanders with 10 different battle class types. I hate to be a realist on this one, but literally not a single person cares about Skylanders anymore.

40. Sonic Mania

sonic switch games

Developer: Headcannon
Publisher: Sega
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch (Also PS4, Xbox One, PC)
Genre: Platforming

Sonic Mania will return to the visual style of the 2D side-scrolling classic Sonic the Hedgehog, and it will feature original levels as well as new “remixed” levels from past Sonic games. It was announced at the Sega 25th Anniversary Celebration in 2016 alongside Project Sonic 2017.

41. Snipperclips – Cut it out, together!

nintendo switch snipperclips

Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: March 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Action puzzles, Multiplayer

Snipperclips – Cut it out, together! (yes, that’s its actual full name) is actually generating a lot of buzz after the hands-on event in New York, with many praising what Nintendo is offering. For $19.99, Snipperclips presents a multiplayer action puzzle game that will allow you to play with up to four players. In the game, you’ll work together with your friends to cut your little paper characters into different shapes to solve various puzzles. You’ll creatively cut shapes out of your characters to move objects, interact with the environment, and solve puzzles. Those who have tried it say it’s much more substantial than what it would appear in the trailers.

42. Stardew Valley

stardew valley

Developer: Chucklefish Games
Publisher: Chucklefish Games
Release Date: Fall 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch (Xbox One, PC, iOS)
Genre: Farming Simulator

If a handheld version of Stardew Valley isn’t on your must-have list, then we simply cannot be friends. The indie farming sim is incredibly popular, with many calling it the best indie game of 2016. It’s designed by one developer, Eric Barone, and his game remains one of the highest rated games on Steam. The game was originally planned for development for Wii U, but now that port is dead, and it will release on the Nintendo Switch at some point in the fall.

43. Steep

steep nintendo switch

Developer: Ubisoft
Publisher: Ubisoft
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch (Xbox One, PS4 already released)
Genre: Extreme Sports

Ubisoft’s snowboarding (and skiing, paragliding, and wingsuit) game will make its way to the Nintendo Switch in 2017, following Steep‘s middling release on the PS4 and Xbox One in late 2016. The idea of playing the game on a handheld — and possibly at a lower cost — is much more interesting than the Xbox One/PS4 editions. Although it’s graphically impressive, it’s not doing much to advance the snowboarding game genre. Still, if it were to debut at a discounted price, it might pique the interest of some Switch gamers.

44. Super Bomberman R

upcoming nintendo switch games 2017

Developer: Konami
Publisher: Konami
Release Date: March 3, 2017
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Action

Konami’s classic Bomberman franchise will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch, and it looks like a hell of a lot of fun. The problem is that there’s an outcry because the game was originally listed as having a ridiculous price of $59.99 (ridiculous for what they’re offering). Konami announced this morning that Super Bomberman R would actually retail for $49.99. Still, that’s not low enough. Bring that baby down to $39.99 and maybe we’ll talk, $29.99 and you’ve got yourself a day-one purchase.

Here are other confirmed Nintendo Switch games coming soon:

  • 1,001 Spikes
  • Blazblue
  • Bloodstained
  • Cave Story
  • Derby Stallion
  • Dungeon of Zaar
  • Gonner
  • Hydra Castle Labyrinth
