Developer Codemasters have officially announced their upcoming Micro Machines game.
Micro Machines World Series will be coming April 21st 2017 to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As the title suggests, the game is focused on miniature vehicles racing and attacking other players to reach the finish line first. The tracks make the everyday boring into something both dangerous and exciting, as the garden, kitchen, and pool table become major obstacle courses.
The new game will also include various modes like Battle Arena, Capture the Flag, and King of the Hill. Which will certainly be interesting to see in the various arenas showcased in the trailer. World Series can support up to 12 players for these modes if they are played online, and four if on one system. Thus far, there are 12 unique vehicles to choose from, each with their own weapons and abilities.
Codemaster released a similar title, Micro Machines, to the iOS as a free-to-play game last summer. However it has been said that World Series will actually be in more likeness to Codemaster’s topdown racing video game Toybox Turbos. We shall see how it turns out to be absolutely sure.
