The game will be a follow-up to Crimes and Punishments, which was met with mostly positive reviews, holding a Metacritic ranking of 77 on PC. According to the game’s original announcement, the game will take a more action-oriented approach to the Sherlock Holmes game, which is an idea that’s reinforced by the game’s newly revealed box art (which, by the way, is absolutely great).
With Crimes and Punishments being good but not great, all Frogware really has to do is tweak the gameplay a little, and they’re sure to have one of the best Sherlock games ever made. It’s strange that there hasn’t really been a great Sherlock Holmes game yet, but hopefully, Frogware will change that with their upcoming release.
