Hideo Kojima Meets With Norman Reedus

KojimaContinuing their friendship is none other than Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus. The pair first met with the original collaboration of Konami’s Silent Hills.

In a post from Kojima’s personal Twitter account, he posted a picture of them together with the caption, “Reunion with Norman Reedus. Giving update about my own company.”

Reedus joined Kojima alongside Guillermo del Toro for the release of P.T. This was a “playable teaser” that ended up being part of one of the greatest marketing feats in recent memory. The free title was a refreshingly immersive horror title. When a player completed a series of tasks, they were rewarded with a trailer for Silent Hills.

Since the cancellation of Silent Hills and the removal of P.T. from the Playstation Store, Kojima has made it clear that he would love to work with Reedus and del Toro in a future collaboration. “I have faith that we, the three of us, can do something else,” he told IGN. “There were so many ideas and cool future happenings that were thrown around. I just can’t see us not picking this up somewhere.”

With the opening of Kojima Productions as an independent studio partnering with Sony, we can only hope for some true masterpieces from this trio of creative individuals.
