Starting April 11 in the US or April 13 in Europe, the Stardew Valley physical release will set you back $30. According to 505 Games, this collector’s edition will include the full game, a map of Pelican Town, a mini-guidebook by Kari Fry, and a code for the game’s soundtrack.
For anyone who has wanted to check out this hit indie game, this is as good a time as any. Stardew Valley can easily be described as a 2D Harvest Moon, but it really is so much more than that. Sure there is farming to do and relationships to build, but there are also caves to fight enemies in.
Beyond that, the game can be whatever you want it to be. RPG fans can focus on leveling up your farming, mining, combat, fishing, and foraging skills. Sim fans can become a big part of the community. Over thirty different characters live in Stardew Valley with unique schedules, birthdays, and more.
This is a game to unwind and get lost in. With the Stardew Valley physical release coming, it’s a great time to transport into a better world.
