Playstation VR Bundle Includes Camera and Controller

Playstation VR bundleYesterday, Sony announced the release date and pricing of their upcoming VR headset. Today, we’ve heard of a second Playstation VR bundle coming to North America.

When we told you about the Playstation VR release date, we explained that you’ll be able to own your own headset this October for just $400. At the time, the only bundle announced came with the essential headset, cables, headphones, and processing unit. You would still need to purchase the required Playstation Camera separately as well as Move controllers. Luckily for us, there will be another choice.

According to Tech Insider, there will be another bundle that will include the headset components, Camera, and Move controller in one package. The information comes from an interview with Playstation’s worldwide head of studios Shuhei Yoshida. In an explanation as to why the essential Camera wasn’t included, he said, “We didn’t put it in because many people already own it.”

While it’s nice to know we will have the option for the larger bundle, we still do not have a price to go along with it. With both the Camera and the Move controller available for less than their retail value, we’re curious to see if the bundled package will still be the better price or not.

We expect a lot more news about the Playstation VR bundle options as we get closer to E3.
