The Final Aquaman Trailer is Here
With just a month until its release, Warner Bros. has dropped the final Aquaman trailer. And it’s perhaps the most exciting look at the upcoming film yet.
The final Aquaman trailer spends a solid chunk of its time looking at the upbringing of a young Arthur Curry. This is where Willem Dafoe’s Nuidis Vulko comes heavily into play. Raised as a human, Vulko is the man who helps Curry learn of his abilities under the seas due to his Atlantean heritage.
Today’s final Aquaman trailer also reiterates how much of a sheer spectacle this film is looking to be. It’s clear that the battle scenes within Atlantis are going to require some CGI mastery by the teams working on this project. But based upon what we’re seeing in the footage today, it’s so far so good on that front.
We see glimpses of the overall plot here too, including Patrick Wilson’s Ocean Master beginning his subterfuge in seeking all-out war on the surface world. We get to see Yahya Abdul-Mateen II for the first time as well outside of his Black Manta garb.
Warner Bros. is also teaming up with Amazon to deliver something cool for Amazon Prime members. Aquaman is hitting theaters worldwide on December 21st, but on December 15th Amazon Prime members will have exclusive access to an early screening of the film. You can head here for more details and tickets, but essentially Prime members can purchase up to 10 tickets to see the flick early at one of over 1,000 theaters across AMC, Regal, National Amusement Theaters and ArcLight Cinemas chains. It’s both a great promotional tool and a fun bonus for those with an Amazon Prime membership.
Again, the movie lands in theaters for those without Amazon Prime on December 21st. Meaning there’s only a month between us and our upcoming trip to Atlantis.
