James Bond 25 may see a different 007 than the recent films. With Daniel Craig seeming uninterested, maybe we’ll finally see Tom Hiddleston in the role.
Sources close to Hiddleston have told Birth.Movies.Death. that the actor is in talks to take over the iconic role. While no official offer has been made yet, it should be noted that Hiddleston has been very vocal about his interest in the role.
Daniel Craig, on the other hand, has been very vocal about his disinterest in continuing as Bond. Last year, he said in an interview, “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists…I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”
More recently, Craig even turned down £68 million (about $99 million) to play the character in James Bond 25 and a follow-up. Previously, he earned £38 million from the previous four films.
As the website points out, this could very well just be a move to push Craig into deciding whether he is up for the role or not. We are pretty confident in saying he’s not, though.
Additionally, Fantastic Four’s Jamie Bell is also in talks for the part, but we think that Hiddleston would be a better fit.
What do you think? Would you like someone new for James Bond 25? Or do you want to make Daniel Craig suffer through another film? Come on guys, it’s time to save the Craig.
