In a conversation with Omelete (translated by ComicBookMovie), Michael Wilkinson confirmed that The Flash will make an appearance in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Wilkinson is the costume designer for the movie.
“You do get a glimpse of him [The Flash], of course, in Batman v Superman,” Wilkinson said. “I’m really looking forward to taking the amazing, iconic costume for The Flash and interpreting it in a fresh way.”
At the moment, we still do not know how extensive this cameo is. Will we get to clearly see actor Ezra Miller in the iconic red suit, or will he be nothing more than a red blur caught on TV? We can only speculate for now, but we’re hoping for the suit. In addition, we already know that Cyborg and Aquaman are also confirmed to make an appearance.
Also, if you are still wondering about the desert scene from the most recent Batman v Superman trailer, Wilkinson explained what we’re seeing. “It’s like a dream that Ben [Bruce Wayne] has…it has almost a Mad Max quality to it where it’s like the end of the world, trying to survive and then of course Superman and his minions come, so it’s sort of a way of representing the amazing amounts of, the sort of obsessive quality that Bruce Wayne has about the threat of Superman.”
