During the Luke Cage panel at San Diego Comic-Con this evening, Marvel not only announced that Luke Cage would be coming to Netflix in 2017, but the company also confirmed that the third season of Daredevil is on the way, as well.
Interestingly enough, no release date for the upcoming season was given, but we were given a “coming soon” in the teaser (which you can watch below). It’s highly unlikely that we’d see anything before 2016 comes to an end, but a March/April release seems more feasible, as has been the case for its first two seasons.

The entertainment company also unveiled the very first Luke Cage trailer, which you can watch below. The trailer notes that the series will make its Netflix debut on September 30. The series will star Mike Colter in the Jessica Jones spin-off.
Marvel also unveiled the first teaser for The Defenders, which shows little more than the logo set to Nirvana. Still, super cool.
And finally, they released the first Iron Fist trailer, which is embedded below.
There’s more Marvel news coming out of SDCC right now, and we can’t wait to unpack it all.
