September PlayStation Event Announced

September PlayStation EventAll signs are pointing to Sony bringing out the big guns, as the company has announced a September PlayStation Event.

Media invites have been sent out to bring journalists and analysts from around the world to the PlayStation Theater in New York on September 7th at 3:00PM.

It’s believed that Sony will officially unveil the previously announced PlayStation Neo, Sony’s rumored more powerful version of the PS4 that’s in the same vein of the Xbox One S, at the September event, as they’ve already announced PSVR and don’t have any other hardware in the works that we know about.

A couple days ago, rumor began to spread that Sony would be announcing the PS4 Neo on September 7. Now, we have confirmation, thanks to the media invites that were sent out.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the event gave us not only all of the details about the PS4 Neo but its release date as well, which we’re expecting to be set sometime before the big holiday 2016 rush.
