NBCUniversal President Chris McCumber is thrilled about the series, saying, “We couldn’t be more proud of Mr. Robot, a series that has pushed boundaries, captured the cultural zeitgeist, and been honored as one of the best dramas on television. Midway through its second season, Mr. Robot continues to break new ground and open up new opportunities for the network. We can’t wait to see where Sam Esmail and the entire brilliant Robot team take us next.”
Of course, since we’re not even entirely finished with Season 2 (which is currently midway through) just yet, there aren’t any details available about what we can expect from Mr. Robot Season 3. But given our thoughts on Season 1, and the fact that we’re loving every minute of the sophomore season so far, we can only imagine that the show is going to continue in its current state of greatness.
More From Nerd Much?:
Mr. Robot hails from creator Sam Esmail and stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, and saw the addition of Craig Robinson right before the start of the second season.
Before Mr. Robot Season 3 makes its premiere in 2017, fans should catch up on Season 2 on demand via USANetwork.com, and stay tuned to Nerd Much following the season 2 finale for our season review.
