Paramount Pictures has announced that two of their upcoming horror movies have been delayed, as Rings and Friday the 13th have been pushed back.
Now, instead of horror fans getting the new Rings movie at the end of the month in October 2016, they’ll have to wait until February 3, 2017. This marks the movie’s third delay since its originally announced November 13, 2015 date.
Friday the 13th will move from January 13th to October 13th, 2017.
More From Nerd Much?:
Oddly enough, Paramount didn’t give any specific reason for the delay, and what makes it even a bit more strange is that we just received the first Rings trailer a few weeks ago.
Rings is being directed by F. Javier Gutierrez, and it will be the third movie in the popular horror franchise. It’s set to star Vincent D’Onofrio, Laura Wiggins, Johnny Galecki, and Aimee Teegarden.
We’re a little more bummed out about the Rings delay than the Friday the 13th delay, as we don’t have enough information about the latter to really care.
