Crunchyroll’s Anime Movie Night Brings Anime to Theaters

Crunchyroll has scheduled Anime Movie Night beginning this April. Favorite anime movies and TV series will be brought to life on the big screen across America.

For the rest of the year, the anime subscription service will be hosting Anime Movie Night each quarter. Specifics have yet to be revealed, but we do know that feature Japanese films and episodes will be making their way.

“As demand for anime continues to grow in the U.S. and around the world, it’s a thrill to have the opportunity to bring the latest hits, as well as the anime that fans know and love, into theaters — often for the very first time,” said Crunchyroll general manager Kun Gao in a statement to IGN.

To put on the event, Crunchyroll is teaming up with Screenvision Media and KAOS Connect. Not only will anime be shown, but so will behind-the-scenes content and interviews from industry leaders.
