Been unable to afford The Last Guardian at full price and praying for a sale? Well, you’re in luck! But it’s not a sale. The Last Guardian has received a significant price cut from $59.99 to $39.99, as confirmed by Sony itself. The twenty dollar difference was not given any explanation whatsoever, but it is a permanent cut.
The famous (or infamous depending on how you feel about the game) is available at most retailers like the PlayStation Store, Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. It’s a little odd, especially since the game is still considered quite new, but games see price cuts all the time, usually based on sales. Though if I recall correctly, the game did quite well in that regard.
More From Nerd Much?:
Who knows why, I’m certainly happy. I’ve been wanting this game for awhile and the price drop is all the more incentive. The game, for those who don’t know, was met with mixed reviews. As though the game was stunning and emotional, the controllers and camera were extremely frustrating. In addition, it was often a battle between being a huge fan of Ico and knowing that the game barely meets normal expectations.
