We’re just ten days away from the release of Spider-Man for the PlayStation 4. And with anticipation for the game likely being at its peak, what better time than now to announce when Sony and Insomniac Games will be dropping the first chapter of Spider-Man DLC?

We didn’t just get information on the first DLC chapter coming from Insomniac. The studio actually detailed dates and titles for all three of the impending Spider-Man DLC chapters that are headed our way.
The entire DLC package is being called The City That Never Sleeps. The first chapter is named Marvel’s Spider-Man: Heist and will debut on October 23rd. Insomniac says “As you play the base game, you’ll realize that Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, is back in town and she’s leaving clues around town to toy with Spider-Man. In Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, she finally reveals herself.”
The first Spider-Man DLC chapter will incorporate new missions, challenges and a brand new group of enemies bringing chaos to the city that never sleeps. There will be three new costumes to unlock for Spider-Man too.
We don’t have any details on the other two Spider-Man DLC chapters, but we do have titles: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining. It’s not hard to guess that the final installment could be Silver Sable focused. Turf Wars will release in November and Silver Lining will release in December.
Bought individually, each of the chapters will hit the PlayStation store at $9.99. However, you can purchase them all together in The City That Never Sleeps bundle for $24.99. The bundle is also incorporated into the price of the Spider-Man Digital Deluxe Edition which is retailing for $79.99.
The wait is also over, true believers. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is just about ready to swing onto our PlayStation 4s. Friday, September 7th can’t get here fast enough.
