If there’s one thing we know about CES, it’s that there are robots and robot companies aplenty in the building at any given time. One of those robotic companies we’re familiar with, MegaBots, Inc, has told us their plans to create an international sports league of giant fighting robots.
On Friday, January 8th, MegaBots Inc says that they’ll take the stage at the Venetian for the Extreme Tech Challenge to try and grab an investment from Sir. Richard Branson, with a 1 in 10 shot at doing just that. They’ll be using the investment to start an international sports league of giant fighting robots.
“People love giant robots. People love sports. MegaBots is the major leagues of giant robot sports,” said MegaBots Co-Founder Brinkley Warren.
You may remember MegaBots Inc from earlier in 2015 when the company announced a mega robot battle between Kuratas vs. MegaBot, which quickly became a battle between the U.S. and Japan.
