Humans Season 2 Adds Bella Dayne

humans season 2AMC and Channel 4’s hit sci-fi show is looking to add even more talent next season. Bella Dayne will be joining the cast of Humans Season 2.

Currently, Dayne is working as a series lead in ITV’s Roman-period comedy Plebs. She has also had smaller roles in shows like American Horror Story and Person of Interest.

The upcoming season will be eight episodes long and is scheduled to premiere in late 2016 in the UK and 2017 in the US. British writers Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley penned the script based on the Swedish sci-fi drama Real Humans.

According to Deadline, this series already ranks in the top five cable drama launches within the 25-54 age bracket in the US. Better yet, the first episode was the highest-rated drama in 20 years for Channel 4.

The series was picked up by AMC after Xbox cancelled its TV unit. It explores our fear of the unknown and that may happen if we begin to grant machines consciousness. We fell in love with the show’s deeper messages and named it one of the best TV shows of 2015.
